Spring-Summer
is here, and it is time to look forward to the fall for the latest fashion
trends! While vibrant colors and flowing fabrics ruled the runways, some
designers have put forward their ideas to heat up your fall-winter wardrobe! It
is time to stock up ideas for the coming winter, and we've got the inside line
on what you need to stock your wardrobe with. Here are some future trends that
have caught our attention.
Knit
it up
The
cozy, knitted sweater gets a whole new look. They are not anymore over sized and
bulky as most of us are used to thinking, but have acquired an elegant and chic
look that suits all kind of sartorial styles.
Plaid
Perfect
for colder climes, Plaid was widely used by designers who have over the years experimented
and modernized it. Plaid seems to hold sway over the runway in a way few other
materials have. Vertical, horizontal, big, small in checks or stripes, Plaid
has always been a resounding hit and that won’t be changing anytime soon.
Velveteen
softness
One
of the most popular fabrics used during the Fall Fashion Week, velvet season
seems to be in hot demand. The runway was flooded in the soft sea of velvet.
Used in every possible garment and color, designers have pushed the use of velvet
to its limits.
A
Splash of Neon
Neutral
blacks and whites were emblazoned with a splash of neon, an effect that was
quite appreciated. Neon seems to be a trend continuing to grow strong even in
the winter fall season, but it has been toned down a few notches, thankfully!
Natural
Environment
Designers
across the globe seek inspiration from nature, and this season was no
different. Flora and fauna ruled supreme with the use of earthy, natural colors
in conjunction with animal prints and avian designs. Feathers and furs abounded
in plentiful too!
Blast
from the past
The
60’s are back and here to stay. Models in short dresses with fancy boots and
vibrant colors definitely caught the attention of critics and while the leggy models
caught the eye, the designs they sported were just as talked about. The 60’s
are back, and how!
The
Fall Fashion Week’s collection has given fashion enthusiasts reason to look
forward to a warm and cozy winter filled with style, so don’t forget to chase
those wintry blues away!
