It’s that time of year
again; the Oscars are here! The Academy Awards are the most awaited film awards
in the world and for good reason too. The 86th Academy Awards
witnessed some amazing talent turn out and the lucky few that managed a
statuette home had earned the right to do so.
The category that caught our attention
was, without doubt, for Best Costume Design. It goes without saying that the
outfits and costumes used in any movie can lend it an air of awe and
believability. Seeing is believing, after all! Catherine Martin was declared
the winner for ‘The Great Gatsby’. She’s no stranger to winning an Oscar, and
she bagged two more Oscars for her fine work.
